Crazy Scalp Scratcher Massager Thingy by Kikkerland Review

I’m going to tell you right now: the Crazy Scalp Scratcher Massager Thingy by Kikkerland is the best thing you will ever buy that looks like a virus.

The head massager looks like a metal model of a malaria or a torture device. It has a rolled metal handle and 12 wire legs that end in small, black plastic feet. It wobbles nervously, as the manufacturing isn’t super precise and the legs aren’t the same length or formed at the same angles. It’s one of the last things you’d want to put on your head, especially if you aren’t feeling well.

However, it brings instant nirvana to anyone you use it on.
You grab the scratcher by the handle and place it lightly anywhere on your head. Push down slowly, and your body’s first reaction will probably be a tingle, followed by a smile. I find the scalp massager to be especially awesome after a long day of looking at the computer monitor. I think it helps to relax a lot of the facial muscles that may tighten up through the course of a workday. It’s also good if you have a headache due to dehydration or from drinking too much caffeine.

I start off most sessions by moving the scratcher up and down on the crown of my head. I then tilt the massager different angles and push up and down. When that starts to feel “normal” I rotate the scratcher via the tip at the top, keeping everything else in place.
Torture droid, Void Ray, or the world’s best scalp massager?
I was worried these plastic feet may poke the scalp and/or come off with use. So far so good!

I originally bought one from Mertiline. The household liked it so much I knew that if I didn’t get more there would be a fistfight. I ordered a second set from, and they are less than $2 each if you have Prime.

I’d recommend getting at least two for your house, and then consider buying extra for visitors or as gifts. I’d buy a box of ten if I could 🙂

Strongly Recommended

I bought these, and my wife and I LOVE them. I also found out that it’s not as universally enjoyed when you tell your friend to close their eyes and surprise them with it.

btw, your amazon link to this product isn’t showing up here anymore.

Also, your recaptcha is trying to make me type an “O” with two dots over it.

I’m glad you like it 🙂 Thanks for letting me know about the affiliate link, it’s showing up now so I wonder if Amazon was having some problems. Sorry about the reCAPTCHA. :\
