Firearms Tips and Techniques for Beginners: What to Take to Your First Gunfighting Class

This episode of Firearms Tips and Techniques for Beginners is about what you should take for your first gunfighting class. A fight-focused class will be more dynamic, should include more movement, and be more strenuous than your run-of-the-mill standing in a shoebox target shooting session. Expect to be outside in any kind of weather conditions.

This episode is a three-parter, with the bare minimum amount of gear I’d recommend, then some more intermediate suggestions, and finally a discussion about a “comfort” or “boo-boo kit” bag.

Part 1: The Bare Necessities

Part 2: Optional Things That Will Be Helpful

Part 3: Optional Comfort / Boo-boo Kit

This is part of an ongoing introductory series and FAQ about firearms, ammunition and accessories for new gun owners or people who want to learn the basics.
