I’ll be doing a new segment on my blog starting in October called Gibberish Asks. I’ll interview someone in person, over a chat or email about topics I found interesting and hope that you do as well.
The first segment will feature illustrator Robert Dickson, who is best known for participating in the Pokemon: Battle Royale art competition. The exhibit made several geek news sites and blogs, including Kotaku.
Robert is also known for combining two animals into one in a drawing. For example, here’s a parrot crossed with an iguana:
In early October I’m going to film my interview with Robert, and as a bonus he’s going to draw a combi-animal as submitted by one of my readers during the interview.
So here’s the deal: make a comment on this post. Name two different animals. I’ll pick the winner at random and Robert will sketch out the combi-animal in real-time. Robert will send the winner a sketch of the animal. Thinking up different animal combos is a lot of fun if you have kids or are a kid at heart.
The contest will end on Monday, October 1 2012, with the interview segment airing later that week.
