Happy birthday, Pearl!
My youngest dog Pearl is two years old today! I can’t believe she’s been with me this long.
I adopted Pearl from the Washington Animal Rescue League in Washington, DC. They have a fabulous facility and try to do everything they can for the animals staying there.
Here are a few of my favorite pictures from Pearl from this year, and I think they show her many sides.
Pearl spends most of her time playing, sleeping, farting, and … eating. She will eat just about anything, which is why I have to crate her when I leave the house.
VITAMINS I LOVESES THEM:
Keeping an eye out for squirrels:
Whew, that was tiring, time for a nap with Rosie:
Play time with Porter!
Whew, that was tiring, time for a nap with Ewen:
Snow!
Whew, that was tiring, time for a nap in the hallway upstairs so I can watch dad on the computer:
I’m all for dog rescuing. Similar to my adoption beliefs, there are already so many dogs out there that need a home, its 100x better to save one then to try and make a cute “pocket puppy” that everyone seems to want these days.
Are you going to let her chase as many “balls” as she likes just because it’s her special day?
HAPPY B-DAY PEARL!!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PEARL!!!!!!
I miss you and love you 🙂
Oh, Miss Pearl, you are now kind of a rock star in my world. Happy birthday to the girl who saved me from buying SentryPro today. You are lovely.
