Noia Extreme 2.0 for Firefox 3.0 beta available

I upgraded to Firefox 3.0 without finding out if some of my favorite extensions and themes were compatible. As such, I’ve had to live without my favorite theme, Noia Extreme 2.0, ever since FFX 3.0 publicly launched ten days ago.

Luckily the author has been hard at work and a beta version of the theme is available.

Noia Extreme is more than just an icon set. It’s a complete re-skin, down to the “chrome” and the status bars. I like the slightly-cartoony icons, it reduces the sterile feeling I get from the stock user interface.

I don’t think there is a timetable for an official release via mozilla.org. If you’re in need of your Noia fix, you’ll have to get it directly from the author.

Oh thank God! Maybe I’m a freak but I switched back to 2.0 just so I could have my Noia theme. Now I can move forward… bravo!
