I review the Blackhawk CQC Double Stack single magazine carrier, the El Paso Saddlery LEG-535 Double Stack double magazine carrier, a nylon double stack double magazine pouch provided by Cheaper Than Dirt when purchasing KCI aftermarket Glock magazines, and a horizontally-oriented double stack single magazine carrier by Parlusk.
I give my impressions of Springfield Armory’s XD45 Compact handgun. It’s functional, reliable, and I shot it well right out of the box. Unfortunately it didn’t conceal well for me in an appendix position, and has moved on to other pastures.
I test-fire and compare the Rock Island Armory 1911 compact Officer model handgun, and compare it to my other concealed carry pistols: Glock 27, Kel-tec PF-9, and my full-sized Rock Island Armory 1911 Government model pistol.
